Looking at my placement classroom I have noticed a few AT supports. These would include wobble chairs which allow students who need some extra movement to move around while in class then also on the majority of the chairs, she has bands around the front legs that allow the students to bounce while sitting also. In my different classes throughout life (not sure what time though) I remember having yoga ball seating, and pencil grips but nothing else really that I remember seeing used. Looking at AT supports I find the most helpful would be the seating because it allows me to fidget while in a classroom environment which helps me personally concentrate better. 3D modeling can be used to create tactile teaching aids for students with visual impairments by allowing students to feel the object that is being talked about or being able to follow along with the discussion in a math class with graphs by having models of them that they can use pins to push into the different section o...
